Everything here is meant to evoke an experimental feeling, from the website to the decor to the food. It can feel a touch gimmicky, but the food does not disappoint. There are a number of small plates on the menu and just a handful of entrees. The Chicken for Two is a signature dish, but we opted out so we could sample more dishes. The two of us ordered two small plates and two entrees a piece but the table next to ours ordered more small plates and fewer entrees, so the combination is entirely up to you. Personally the highlights were the fresh cheese with ramps (made in-house), which managed to feel fresh and light, and the scallops, which were perfectly cooked and accompanied by a delicious emulsion. You have to pay for bread, but it's worth it to eat it with the cheese! Side note: the guys behind Freeman's and The Smile are behind this one.

Great place for a date. Loved the music and atmosphere. Food was great and so was the service. Highly recommended.

I really love the layout and atmosphere here. Usually when I'm done eating, I can't leave fast enough but this is a good place to people watch, sip cocktails and eat with friends. We ordered 4 small plates. The food was pretty good, with the oxtail rissotto being the star. The one peppery pasta dish we had was not salted at all but would have been great had it had a pinch of salt to balance all that pepper. Broccoli salad and octopus we're ok but nothing to write home about. Cocktails are good but over priced and slow coming to the table. Service was friendly. This place loses 2 stars for the above reasons and also because I'm tired of the overpriced, small-plate racket in restaurants these days. The family meals seem to be the best deal here and I will definitely try their flaming chicken or beef if we go back.

This restaurant is one of a kind. They a making some very experimental dishes with great staff. But the prices is a bit too high compared with the sizes of the dishes.

Fantastic food and interesting décor, the whole chicken was fantastic and the lamb shank with lentils was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed most of the items on the menu. Decent cocktails too. Great place for special occasions.
