What a fabulous leather store! They have an amazing selection. I wanted to find a special leather to make a jacket, something either embossed, printed, laser cut, screen printed, etc. Their selection was overwhelming and I walked out with leather for 3 different jackets. You can see the screen printed leather I chose for one jacket. The other pic shows my reject pile, which was also amazing, but I couldn't buy it all. It's wonderful to still see a family operated business in the garment district. I met the parents and their adult daughter who has a gift for finding wonderful leathers. They've been operating for 40 years and I hope they continue for many more. They clearly love their inventory and were thrilled to help me find what I wanted, despite the fact that I disturbed many piles. Please shop there and support them! They were happy to ship my purchases home. Also, note that they are located on the 11th floor of their building. (And, no, they aren't super cheap, but they carry top quality Italian leathers and they know their stuff.) P.S. They sell to retail and wholesale.

Completely happy with my purchase and the price. Highly recommend. The store I was initially trying to buy from was moving locations and closed. I was in town for a short trip and had a limited time window to get fabric for a project. I ended up in here and they were absolutely wonderful. When I came in I was very overwhelmed but I was immediately helped and guided through different options. The quality and selection of their product was great and the staff was so nice.

I love the leather I got here. I was about to lose hope of finding the kind of leather I wanted for my project. After going to different places, I ended up here and the ower is very helpful and friendly. She is a very nice person and willing to show me different skins and to give me swatches when I asked for. She has a good knowledge of the skins, what they can and cannot do. They have a very good selection of beautiful skins with great quality. The owners have a heavy Russian accent but they are very nice and lovely people. They give me discount after they know I'm a student. This is my go to place for leather.

Just a regular guy that needed some leather for sail repair and to make a few sheaths. Discovered them by asking guys at Katz Shoe Repair (Chelsea - Eighth Ave btwn 22nd & 23rd -- excellent shoe repair). The lady there made me feel welcome and I ended up getting some sweet, tough goat leather. Even though I didn't need a boat load and not a buyer, they were able to satisfy my needs.
