You have to go here! I’ve been going to Mott Street Optical for years. They’re friendly, quick and the store is always clean. Their prices are always better than everywhere else. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Staff was professional and patient. They spent a lot of time with me trying out frames, researching styles online, and explaining the options for lenses. I ended up having them order Lindberg frames directly from the manufacturer and the glasses were ready sooner than promised.

Terrible experience! I was refracted the first week of December and the optician was very professional and courteous. That part of the experience was fine. Then the nightmare began. I requested hyperindex, progressive lenses with an anti-glare coating. I was told the lenses would be ready within a week to ten days. I called to check in within a week and was told it would be more like two weeks. When I called at two weeks they said the laboratory screwed up the order and that they could provide me a temporary pair of lenses for my frame single vision for no charge. I was told one more week for my nearly 600 dollar lenses. When I returned in a week I was told it would take two hours to fit them into my frame. I returned in two hours to discover that this time they made my lenses upside down where the close vision was on top and the distant on the bottom. Alarming! Totally unacceptable and I do not recommend...

At first glance, the place seems like a nice clean place but they are a rip off borderline scam and rude. they charged me a ridiculous price and on top of that, they gave me a cheap knockoff.when I gave them my glasses for them to cut the shape, they broke it and claimed it wasnt broken! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

The optometrist was very detailed and explained concepts in a way that was easy to understand. Problem was the process of purchasing specs - I've never seen such a disorganized and unruly process before in my 15 years of wearing glasses. Standard of care was also pretty poor. I ended up only having my eye examination here and not much else. I'm definitely not returning and would not recommend this optometrist if you're used to the assistants taking time to understand your needs and requirements when purchasing \u003e400 glasses.
