If any HRA Office service surpasses the rudeness and mistreatment from the Rider Ave. Bronx location then anyone that had to endure such treatment must be traumatized for life. They give you all the reasons not to help you with anything and ensure you don't ever want you return. Requesting a manager is a setup for more failure. They'll take the staff side without even listening to what the client had to say or prove. It's disgraceful. So sad having to be in need but then dealing with them makes it all so much worse and denigrating.

The customer representative woman who answered the phone was EXTREMLY RUDE! My wife is Chinese so she called and chose to speak with a Mandarin representative. A Chinese woman answered the phone without introducing her name. She has altituded and shouted, \Say it!\ Then my wife explained she need a new Medicaid application form to be sent to our address. Then the Chinese representative put my wife on hold for long time. Then she came back and asked for my wife's name and Date of birth and SSN #. then put my wife on hold immediately. After that, she said \ Sent to the previous address.\ She did not wait for my wife to answer and put my wife on hold angain! It is a long hold time again! Then she came back and said, \I have sent your application to the same address.\ My wife tried to confirm the address with the representative but she rejected my wife's request by saying o\! Then put my wife on hold without saying anything! After that my wife trying to confirm the address again by telling the representative our address to make sure the application has sent to the right address. The Chinese representative did not answered my wife, it was a long silent time. Then my wife said \Hello!\ The Chinese representative answered with bad attitude , \I told you I have sent your application to the same address you have! Then that's it ! \. She hung up on my wife! This Chinese representative woman is not well trained! She does not know how to respect people at all! We don't know her name because she never address it. However, she has rough voice like man's voice; it is a middle age woman 40 to 55 years old I guess. I want to ask this Mandarin representative \how difficult to confirm an address??? \ She is ridiculous!

Poor service. I have been trying to obtain help from this department for a name change. The staff is rude, they always answer the phone with an attitude and they are not well trained. Every individual I spoke to had a different irrelevant solution for my issue.

Rude as if the public was an annoyance!! We pay their salaries! Par for the course. Substandard government workers. Nobody else would hire most of these people!
