I left active duty after six years of service last summer and returned to NYC with little to no assistance, guidance or direction on how I can adapt to leading a civilian life again. In a very vulnerable time for me, the NYC Veterans Alliance and it's incredible staff introduced me to a passionate and caring environment where I found purpose again. From their advocacy work to their ongoing Mutual Aid program, the Alliance has dedicated themselves to the needs of the NYC veteran community, a passion I haven't seen before being a born and raised New Yorker. This is an organization you can count on.

They also help with veterans claims, Housing, meals and even checking on veterans by making phone contact to check on their wellness and needs.
