My Sony a6500 had a jammed shutter. Went to visit photo tech. They have a great turn around time, sent camera Monday and received a call stating it was ready on Friday. My camera works great again. Price to fix is reasonable. They gave me a 90 day warranty if it breaks again.. Thank you Photo Tech. Highly recommended

I've had two Nikon lenses repaired by Photo Tech Repair Service within the past 8 weeks...the original f/2.8 28-70 and the f/2.8 17-35. The first had a dead focus motor, the second a dead focus motor and jammed up focus ring that wouldn't rotate. Photo Tech repaired both within one week of receiving them in their shop and they were returned to me in TOP NOTCH working order, both sharp as a tack and quick in their focus speed as if I'd just taken them out of the box brand new. Excellent service...timely, professional, responsive and knowledgeable about their work. Would feel comfortable sending this shop any of my Nikon bodies and lenses for a tune up or repair. Five stars all around!

Just to give you some background, I've been getting my gear repaired with PhotoTech since about 2015. They have been great with their estimates and their actual repairs. Recently I shipped my camera to be repaired for an estimate of 225. They analyzed the camera and provided a cost of 425.00 to repair it. I declined the repair and asked for the camera to e shipped back to their NYC store. When I picked up the camera, I checked to see if the camera works and nothing. The battery was gone. I sent in the camera with a battery, lens cap, memory card and strap. The battery was not returned. I complained and the guy gave me a battery and reminded me that I signed the form that I acknowledge that they're not responsible for any accessories. Of course I signed but I expect dignity for a business to return my accessories as they received them. I mean... what do you guys do with all of those accessories. I later checked the memory card slot and they took that as well. I'm all about supporting small businesses but to an extent that they ethically work for their clients and not pillage their accessories. Horrible experience and I'm really saddened by this since I've been telling people to go to Phototech for their repairs.
