This is the club I recommend. I have given the membership to my family as gifts. They love it. It has the best variety of concerts, shows, lectures, etc. They also have good customer service.

Major disappointment this past year. If you think this subscription is going to be your backdoor into hot events, broadway shows, brand names...think again. This is for all the shows that got left behind. Also a very high number of niche categories like queer themed performances. On the rare occasions they have a real broadway show for ex. they will sell very pricey tickets \to benefit the actors fund\ lol As if you pay for a membership expecting to benefit the actors fund. On the rarer still occasions where there is an event with mass appeal like a concert, you won't get tickets anyway bec they're limited and get snapped up super fast. The bottom line- only buy this if you want a service to choose cheap events for you and give you some extra options. Not bec \its a steal.

Best choice I ever made to join this service. I can finally see all the shows NYC has to offer without breaking the bank. And I have even seen some of the most beautiful pieces that I never would have chosen, but because they were available, I took advantage and had a wonderful evening. Equally as important, the service is perfectly reliable and the staff is very helpful. This is the best kept secret in the NYC Theater Scene!

I have used play by play now for about 2 months and it has totally enhanced my life. I see many plays each week and have enjoyed every play I have seen so far. I love how there is such a large variety to choose from including Broadway, off-Broadway, and off-off-Broadway. I feel so much more well cultured now, and have learned that I truly adore going to shows. I like how they update the site many times each hour during working hours, and there is always a helpful attendant to pick up the phone if I have any questions. Also, when I go to pick up my tickets they are always there waiting for me at the box office or pick up location. The seats have always been great and it is very easy to put more money into your account online. Honestly, they couldn't make it any easier to see plays, and usually at 4.50 per ticket!

This service is absolutely incredible. I cannot thank Play by Play enough for convincing me to join. Honestly I was a little hesitant at first, mainly due to the fact that the offer just really seemed too good to be true; however, after speaking to some of the staff members who were willing to explain the why's and how's of the service I decided to give it a try. I do not regret that decision for a second. Being able to see so many different shows on the budget I have has allowed me to be able to truly enjoy NYC as a NYC newbie. Thanks so much Play by Play and keep up the good work.
