Called to inquire about equipment and was told to purchase online. Placed the order at 9am yesterday and received it today, literally received item within 24 hours. Would love to visit the store once it reopens. Great Service! Thanks.

Came here to check out their record selection and I will say that they do have a plentiful amount from what I could see in the rock section. Nice variety of Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Doors, and others. They were mostly new and sealed reissues, occasionally on 180 gram vinyl. The secondhand records are a level below and sometimes sitting in boxes on the floor. Music playing from a record within the store, brings a nice atmosphere. Staff seem to want to be of help and ask if you need any assistance, but they are not forceful which is great. They are calm and keep their distance. However the only disappointment I have is how the records are stored in their crates. They're too tightly packed together, which results in a difficult time browsing through, the records have no room to breathe and I am unable to flip through them comfortably. Instead I need to pull each one out individually. Mind that if records are stored this tightly it could cause damage such as ring-wear and maybe even warps. If I am unable to easily see your guys' selection, I am less motivated to look through and make a purchase despite the great choices. It is hard to see the markers for each artist as well. It would be great if it is possible to organize the records a bit more loosely to result in a more enjoyable dig. Aside from this, they have a nice variety of gear such as headphones, some turntables here and there, and cartridges. It's nice to know that a place like this exists near me for audio accessories and such.

Only had a short amount of time available but can't wait to get back in there. Two separate areas to look through records--nice selection of rock, jazz, reggae, hip-hop and rap. Didn't see any classical music available from what I went through, but perhaps I missed it. I'm newbie and this place more than fulfilled my needs.

Very nice store. Decided to go check it out after hearing about it on a podcast. Although the store is nice and has great options can't say the same for one of the staff. As soon as I went in to take a look this gentleman was hovering over me and kept asking if I needed help. I said no thank you sir just wanted to check out your store, I heard about this store on a podcast. He pretty much flanked me around as if I was gonna run out the store with a box or steal something small and made me feel very uncomfortable. Since he was pretty much right behind me all the time. I asked a question and he gave me straight faced one word answers. Right there I told myself, yup time to leave. The podcast I heard told a totally different story about the experience at this store. I certainly didn't get it.

Great selection, unlike other record stores in NYC!
