I am not sure I'd have ordered from Sashimi Express II if I saw the storefront first. It's very bare bones and to accommodate covid safety there are plastic coverings and table for at the front for pick up orders - it's not the most inviting. That said, I'm glad I did! I had a spicy tuna, salmon avocado and eel and shrimp tempura roll for under 12 - all fresh and delicious for the price.

This place is one of the best in the city for affordable sushi. Great combos 3 rolls for 9.5 and 7 for 21. Really love coming here during my lunch break!
Fresh sushi at reasonable prices. 7 rolls for 22, made to order. How they stay in business is beyond me. But I will definitely be back as a repeat customer.
Good quality fish. Super fresh. Perfect ratio of rice to fish. Great variety. Good prefixes and really good bubble tea. Very conscious of gluten free and wheat allergy.
This is my go - to sushi place in the Upper East Side! The prices are really really inexpensive and they give you a good amount of sushi for your money. Seriously, where else can you get this much salmon in Manhattan for 10?!? For 10 you can get a Salmon Box. Salmon roll, spicy salmon roll, and 4 salmon sushi. It's a steal, as a sushi fanatic, this is why I come here so often. Good prices and fresh sushi.
