We are an Alternative Data startup providing AI driven products to Hedge Funds and Asset Managers. Our state-of-the-art technology connects 3 revolutionary industries: SpaceTech, AI and FinTech. The alternative data industry is forecasted to grow from $300mln to $7bn by 2022. Simultaneously, a number of remote sensors such as satellites launched in the Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) follows Moore's Law too, enabling high-resolution, frequent and cheaper access to data and imagery. We, at Sensor X, develop object recognition technology to detect objects (such as cars, trucks, container ships, planes, metals, agriculture, etc) in high-resolution satellite imagery and other next-generation remote sensors such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and UAV imagery. All to produce unique, financially valuable insights for investment decision making. Current startup team: 1) CEO: 10+ years of executive experience in financial services industry, running a $100M FinTech business at one of the largest buyside tech firms globally; 2) CTO: 10+ years of experience in Software engineering, Assoc. Prof. PhD in Data Science; 3) System Architect: 10+ years of experience building High-Frequency-Trading systems and data flow architectures (ex. Twilio, Goldman Sachs, Man Group, Barclays, HSBC, and Bloomberg) 4) Chief Data Scientist: +15 years experience in Artificial Intelligence, Prof. PhD in Data Science; 5) Senior Software Engineer: 10+ years experience in full-stack software engineering, background in machine learning and system security; 6) TPO: 5+ years experience in Finance and 5+ as TPO/Developer at Sentience, Exacaster, Vinted We are hiring: Quantamental Financial Analyst. The job will involve working with our machine learning/data science teams to build financial models, analyze an alternative data sets (geospatial data, next-generation sensors), conduct market research, validate models with our existing beta clients and be at the core in design and evolution of our product.
