One of he best (if not the best) kosher restaurant in New York serving a combination of meat, poultry and fish dishes served in a nice atmosphere with good service. Sushi choices are excellent too. I ordered a spicy tuna roll, Cesar salad, pepper steak and the sea bass. All very good.

I have been going to Prime grill for about 15 years. I again went there this past Christmas Eve for dinner with my family. I am so sorry to say, it was not up to the past standard. First of all, the location sucks. We dined at this location at least four times, and all four times it has failed all of us. The staff does its best, but it is not the staffs problem. It is the upper managements issue. They under staff the restaurant on a Saturday night, and expect the staff to take up the slack. That is one of the upper managements biggest mistakes, taking there staff for granted. Let me tell you about dinner this last Christmas Eve. We ordered beef tar tar, and the waiter said, " sorry, we are sold out" Now let me tell you, we were the first large group seated that night. Then we see.... the table right next to us ordered and got the dish we asked for .... Beef Tar Tar. The waiter went to the kitchen, and came back out with the Beef Tar Tar (what we asked for). He said, "sorry." We then went to order our main course. We wanted mashed potatoes with our dinner, and we were told, "sold out!". Now, I had to laugh. A steak house out of potatoes?! LOL! Anyway, I just had to let the world of Google know. I was a loyal customer of Prime grill, but I am sad to say, no longer. My family and I paid for our meal. Did not complain, and tipped over 25% to the staff. It is not there fault they work for an inferior family restaurant.
Great place for a business lunch, but make sure to make reservations. Also no early lunch as they won't seat you until 12:10. Great steak options and some upscale kosher fare that can only be found here. Excellent service.

Overpriced and poor service! I would not recommend this place the waitress barely acknowledged my presence and I had to ask the bus boy for the wine list and some bread while I waited for my husband. I mentioned to said waitress it is my husband's birthday and I would like a candle for the dessert, guess that was also asking too much of her because it came without the candle and barely an apology. Note this waitress feels she is doing you a favor, the same thing happened to my friend on her birthday! The food is not that great, I have had way better Kosher food in the city. The steak eh and the clay pot chicken dish was served in a chipped serving pot and the chicken needed to be "browned" more
The location was convenient to the hotel where we were staying. An early dinner allowed for quiet dining. Disappointed, because for the money, we thought the portions should have been larger, especially the dessert. The salad was large pieces of uncut tomato and red oninon rings covered in arugula leaves and olives. For 24, I didn't feel that I had to come here to cut up my salad veggies.
One of the top kosher restaurants in town. At first glance, you may think the food is a bit pricey but just wait until you see just how big your Steak Sandwich is. Try the house made French fries too.
Ambiance was great! Food was absolutely delicious. 100% recommended!! (Pricey)
