I studied at the School for Strings for 15 years (from age three to the end of 12th grade) and as a recent graduate of the school / new alumna, I cannot recommend the School highly enough. SFS is a vibrant community of students, parents, faculty and administrators that provides a rigorous and nurturing musical education. My parents still say that enrolling their three-year-old in the SFS piano program was one of the best decisions that they have made - and I agree. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful teachers I had at SFS and the lifelong love for music they instilled in me.
