Fine place for tasty American food. Food was so tasty. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

An amazing meal and great drinks, supplemented by awesome service. We ordered oysters, spicy tuna tartare, and the broccolini. Everything was delicious. Definitely plan to go again!
My friend and I were running late for our reservation and they were flexible. We did, however notice that when we were first seated, the hostess skipped a number of open seats and placed us in the back next to the bathroom. When we looked around, we noticed that the hostess seemed to have seated all the other Black and Brown customers in the back of the restaurant while the White customers were in the front. My friend, being a former hostess knew that these choices didn't have to be the case and spoke up, requesting that we be seated toward the front. The hostess changed her tune and sat us at one of the empty tables she had originally passed. Beside this uncomfortable experience, the rest of dinner went well. Our server was friendly, though toward the end, seemed to be busy with other tables and we had to wait a while for the check. The restaurant adhered to their COVID policy (temp checks, contact info, and the servers waited for you to put your mask on to take your order or deliver your food). The portions were very nice and the drinks were well made. I will come back here again because the food was tasty but the seating issue left a sour taste in my mouth. Note: I ate here on Nov. 7th, 2020 before Gov. Cuomo shut down indoor dining. I just took a while to post my review.
Great food, atmosphere, and service. The staff followed covid guidelines very well - tables were very spaced out and they requested us to keep our masks on until our food arrived. We ordered the Smith burger and butternut squash tortellini and both were delicious.
The tomato soup was bland. Fresh, but bland. They give you two tiny pieces of bread that must be 10 years old because of how stale and hard it is. The waiter saved me with two slices of fresh bread. There was no salt or pepper to save the soup. The brick pressed chicken was also bland. The spinach was super salty. The toffee pudding thing was wonderful as were the cookies. I do want to go back if only to give the kitchen a second chance. Maybe they had a bad night.
