Really glad that online ordering is available for its dim sums. All the food was fresh and still hot when I opened them at home. The turnips cakes and spareribs were among my favorites. It seemed like some of the classic items like the pork bun and sticky rice in lotus leaf were missing from the online menu when I ordered, which was a shame.

Long-time eater of dim sum but first time at THW, WOW! Had never had dim sum to go, ya know because it’s all about the whole restaurant experience, but THW has its system down. Take a look at the whole spread and you’ll see ample amounts of sauce and utensils. Delicate dishes like the shu mai and cheung fun were amazingly intact and delicious. Of course things like the cha shao bao and sticky rice lend well to the take out experience and both were on texture and filling. Maybe most impressive was the silky congee that tasted better than home! Oh oh oh, one more thing, the sesame balls filled with custard were a clutch recommendation made by the gal who toon my order. I’ve eaten here a few times before the pandemic and have enjoyed it immensely. I’m a big dim sum fan. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food when I ordered for delivery on 1/10/21. The Pork Buns were still amazing! Unfortunately my favorite, the shrimp & pork shumai, was terrible. The beef balls were under cooked and the lotus rice was underwhelming. I feel like maybe it was an off day in the kitchen / dim sum is not meant for delivery but who knows. I do regret spending the 70 on such an unsatisfactory dinner.
Very small portion for the price, spare ribs came in a small container with about 8 small pieces, quite expensive actually. BBQ pork buns comes in 3, taste good but kinda pricey and won’t be filling. Might be an option for snack but not a full meal. No dine in, ordered to go/take out.
One of my favorite dim sum places! Almost all of the dim sum dishes are authentic and very well done. Highly recommend!
