One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in NYC!!! Definitely recommend! New dishes on their happy new year menu are still available! Go and check out their new dishes! Boneless Pork Trotters is always my favorite dish. A must try if you go there. They also did great job with the Boneless Short Ribs in Clear Broth! They do both indoor and outdoor dining right now!

As acclaimed by my partner who grew up in Beijing, this is “real Chinese food”. The pork feet was ridiculously tender with a nice balance of flavors; the presentation was thoughtful as well, being placed in a heated tray of sorts. The fried lamb was not as forebodingly spicy as appearances suggest, and was a wild combination of textures. Truffle lovers should definitely get the truffle and egg fried rice no matter what the rest of your meal looks like. Everything else was delightful as well. Looking forward to coming back and exploring the remainder of this large menu.

This is a unique one of a kind restaurant with authentic Sichuan dishes that you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere. It may be the best in nyc...I know, that’s a strong statement to make. From decor, service, selection of entrees, presentation, and flavor - they killed it on all fronts. Their menu is large so I’m sure it will probably take many visits to try it all, each served with expert execution that must take many years of culinary experience. The only caveat? Price does seem a little high but it’s worth it. You must go.

Amazing food, I love the duck. They have good variety of teas. The service was nice and fast. The ambient is fancy, good for couples and small groups.

Best soup dumplings and Peking Duck in town. Very authentic! The duck is crispy and lean, and the pancakes are thin and light. Highly recommend the crab and pork soup dumplings too! Service is always awesome.

It’s a beautiful restaurant elegantly decorated. The tea (jasmine oolong) went well with the meal. The dim sum was lackluster. I’m not sure but the dumplings tasted like they were pre-made, frozen, and steamed because the skin fell apart or were gooey. Not the texture of freshly made dim sum. But that aside other dishes were pretty good. The drinks were fun! I’d come back but skip the dim sum. The name is “hulu” which spells “gourd” in pinyin backwards. Good one!

I was so full after eating so many foods at Uluh, all of them are good! The Cantonese dim sum, the soup dumplings, the Peking duck, the salty crab and more. All of them are super super satisfying! I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could taste them all. We will definitely come back for more of their new dishes.
