Great place for Portuguese food. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. It has a great feel to it. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.

PORTUGAL Eat the World NYC review: Newark's Ironbound neighborhood is a blue collar wonderland of Portuguese food and drink. Many places on the main streets are flashy and expensive, but corner bars like Cafe Arcuense are around as well, offering foods and atmosphere that are incredible. It may seem like a private club at first, but you will feel right at home after a drink and some freshly cut jamón serrano at the bar.
