I rented the RV for a trip to Death Valley with my family after staying in home for almost a year without a vacation. So we decided to use RV for travel and stay in it during this trip during Covid world. I must say all of family members enjoyed the trip and experience the comfort of RV during our first trip using RV as mode of conveyance. Cruise Newark team explained all the basic things and answered all questions to have a smooth journey. thanks Ravi and team.

My daughters and I rented a compact RV from Cruise America and had the time of our lives. The vehicle worked great, we traveled 9000 miles and enjoyed every mile. We had plenty of room, had fun and I enjoyed driving it. I loved the size of the RV, it was easy to park and hook up when we were in campgrounds. There was only one glitch with emptying the black tank, which the company compensated me for. I would do it again in a flash!

We were very pleased with our rental from the Newark branch. We rented the standard size RV with only a few minor defects, such as; -The storage door lock didn't lock properly. -The refrigerator didn't have an adjustment knob to control the coldness. Other then that, the RV drove fine. I will rent from here again.

This is my first time renting a RV. The overall experience is positive. 1. The RV we rent was not in the best shape, but the truck survived the 1,400 mile trip with no issues. 2. The staff there was helpful. When we found the problem in first walk through, Rob the manager help out when we found 2 issues: status indicator panel showed issues with the battery and the black water tank was full. Rob helped us resolved the battery issue as quickly as possible. The black water tank indicator problem was not fixed, but we had no alternative. We drove the RV with the issue and Rob's trick by looking down the toilet to check the tank. The checkout process took about 1.5 hours due to the issue and were very busy on the Sat morning. I wish it went smoother. 3. Other than that, everything else was great. I called the customer service one night when the shoreline power for 30AMP was not working. After trying 2 RV spots. The tech was so helpful to troubleshoot the issue in a few minutes. The issue was there were 2 circuit breakers for the 30AMP from the source, Cruise America RV cannot take the input when both breakers are on. We had to experiment and turn one breaker off. He saved the day when we were in the cold and dark dessert RV park. Not all the shoreline plugs had this problem, but it is good to learn this. 3. The return process was much smoother. I mentioned the issues I had at checkout. They acknowledged the issues and was nice about it.

This is the first time I rented RV from Cruise America. What an unpleasent experience. 1. Even if you made a reservation to pick up the car, you still need to wait in line for at least 2 hours. 2. The light above my bed is out of order. 3. One of the stove is out of order. 4. The dump light is out of order. 5. The grey water light is out of order. 6. The grey water tank is out of order. After we drained all the grey water, you will be flooded after 2 minute shower. What a garbage. 7. The door of the fridge is out of order. You need to duct tape. 8. The door of the bathroom cabinet is out of order. You need more duct tape. 9. The sink is broken. You need more ....more duct tape. 10. Poor Customer Service - We called the service line and asked to switch to another car when we got to Seattle. The service lady said she will contact the Seattle office. But when we called the lady to schedule a time to pick up the new RV after arriving Seattle, the lady totally forgot to call the office. So she told me no car was available. This two week trip with Cruise America RV is a nightmare. I am so shocked about the quality of this company. Some reviews are good. I guess they got lucky. But I am not in Los Vegas. I shouldn't need to rely on luck. Why do I need good luck to get a fully functioning RV ?? PS, after this trip, I realized that duct tape is really useful.
