The guides were troopers.The weather was far from perfect but could of been worse. Everyone was canceling due to cold and rain, but we were still on our way as this was a surprise for my daughter's birthday. Shes obsessed with horses and had never been horseback riding. It meant the world that our guide was still willing to take us out. The rain stopped right when we got there and started back up after we were just about done with the ride. What luck!? The ride was smooth, our guide was very informative (I wish I could remember her name)and the scenery was beautiful. Friday the horse was very good with my daughter. Good job Friday We will absolutely be back!

It's a bit disjointed as far as getting in and signing the needed documents. I also got the feeling that some of the staff weren't happy about being there. However, they were helpful and seem to genuinely care about & know the personalities of each of the horses. The ride itself was a lot of fun. The guide was very attentive and willing to answer questions the entire time. You cross creeks and do some climbing and descending. The bonfire after the sunset ride was canceled due to rain, but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. It was absolutely worth the cost of the ride.

I have been on a lot of trail rides through my life and Millbrook’s trail ride was by far the best! Typically you can expect wide open trails and you casually walk along. This was awesome! I brought my 9 and 12 year old along and they were so excited. As soon as they jumped off they asked to come back next weekend! You ride through corn fields, cow pastures, streams, dense forest preserves, you name it. Lily was our guide and kids loved her, she made sure they were always ok was so easy going. Also, a lot of trail was fairly shaded so not too bad in the hot weather. Definitely wear pants, you are riding horses after all. We will definitely be back!

Took my daughter's riding for the 1st time and we had a great time. Nice mixture of trails (fields, forest, corn field). Was relaxing and fun.

The best trail horse ride experience ever !!!Today morning went to Millbrook for a 2 hour trail ride . I booked it online 1 week before . Each ride was 50/hr. The place is easy to find on google map. It took me 30 mins from Aurora , IL to reach there . Once we arrived , the owner lady greeted us well . She handed us a paper work to fill up which took 5 min . Then she gave instructions to pick the helmet . After that we directly went to the horses . There were around 8 people in the group . We all sat on the horse & she helped with adjusting the saddle and buckle . Then she gave general instructions on how to control & steer the horses . 3 coaches for 8 persons . We followed our coach & started moving . Went through streams , alongside of fox river , uphill , downhill, cornfields , bushes, grasslands . Millbrook horses were tall , pretty , well groomed , cooperative . The horsesq were easy to steer . Weather was perfect . The entire route was scenic . Our coach was Hailey . She is professional , nice, a perfect coach . The entire experience was amazing , view was breath taking . Highly recommend this place .
