The trip out to Catalina Island was a little bumpy. However the return trip was smooth. Crew was professional and helpful. There is a snack bar and a full bar.

Even covid-19 wouldn't stop us to go to Catalina island. We respect 6 feet distance and thanks God no one got sick. Nice Trip!

Ready to get sea sick? The ride there was absolutely horrible. I never get sick on boats and felt pretty confident boarding initially, 10 minutes in and I never felt so sick in my life. How about go a little slower and dont yell at people who are sick to wear a mask?
Never travel on a bad sail day. Also never decide to ride on the top level of the three level boat if you get seasick. With that said if you're going to travel, Catalina flyer is a great way to get to Catalina. Big and spacious, with plenty of seating. Easy and fast entry and exit. Tip, if you would like to sit inside, make sure you get there early. The inside fills up fast. And it gets chilly out there on the sea so don't forget to bring a jacket!
