Had a great time at a very well-organized handicap tournament that the club runs each Wednesday. The handicapping system ensures players of all levels are able to have competitive matches. Umpires and scoreboards for every match. Five stars.

I grew up with a ping pong table and played a lot but basically played tennis on a ping pong table. In my quest to learn how to play table tennis the correct way I was fortunate to find Ron. He gave me the specific guidance I needed to understand spin and how to play the proper way. He is great at breaking things down and intelligently explaining in a way that is easy to understand. He answered all my questions and helped me improve in a very short period of time. If you are looking to improve your game, I highly recommend Ron and his team.

I grew up playing ping pong but never had any formal lessons. I'm being coached by Ron at Newport Beach Table Tennis and have found it incredibly helpful. My game has improved so much over just 5 lessons. He can work on any aspect of your game. For me specifically, he first worked on forehand and backhand technique, serves, body movement, and spin. As he sees my ability improve, he keeps introducing higher levels of play and techniques. I'm planning to stay on with his coaching once a week for an indefinite amount of time. The cost is reasonable and the lessons are a lot of fun. Ron creates an approachable atmosphere for his students.

I have been playing ping pong just randomly since high school for years with no instructions nor good technique. Knowing how passionate I am, my friend referred me to work with Ron. It’s been less than 10 sessions that I have been seeing a significant shift in my play. Ron, hands down, is the best instructor I have had in any discipline. He is smart, very experienced and make the training sessions tough yet very much fun. His approach has been to break my bad habits so I can adopt the right way of playing. I absolutely love working with Ron more and more so I can enjoy the sport professionally. Great experience so far
