You would think that if they know something is miss marked, they would not put it back on the shelf for another customer, which was me, to get mislead on the price. After finding out the item is miss marked and finding out that I am not the only customer to which this has happened to, I ask them to honor the marked pice. The employee refused and actually asked me if I really wanted to go down this route. Well, since he said it that way, yes I do! There is a California law that addresses this type of bait and switch. Waiting for a call from the store manager. I am a very long time customer at multiple West Marine stores on both coasts. I have never been talked to by an employee in this manner. It felt as though I was being treated like I am the one who is in the wrong. This is at the Newport Beach location.
