I agree with Eric and Allan. I unfortunately was a guest at the Lincoln County Jail this past weekend up until this evening (Monday). I was arraigned at 1:15pm on Monday and was granted a conditional release, but wasn't actually processed out until well after 5pm. Why, you ask? Well, the jail program only gets paid if you are there for all three meals. Awesome! I wouldn't call the breakfast a meal; it's a large, unwrapped, bran-type muffin. Yes, there is certainly corruption at the Lincoln County Jail. I have not been to jail in 20 years, and was an inmate this time due to contempt (non-violent or drug related) yet I was placed in Max. No reason. Awesome. I didn't have the same privileges as other inmates in \A\ pod. Was only allowed out for 1 hour of yard and 1 hour of day room. Had to eat in our cells, yet the day room had plenty of room. Awesome. I would wager that about 3 of 5 deputies are power-tripping douchers. One entered my cell at 1am this morning and woke me up to tell me to remove 2 paper crosses from the wall and some items in the windowsill that another inmate had left there. Awesome. Let's see, what else. My wife dropped off my medication that was never given to me; they actually misplaced it when I was released and I had to wait for it. Awesome. The preferred form of communication is yelling through the vents, and professional courtesy dictates that it should end at lights-out. However, some dope-sick inmates abuse that medium. Awesome. Male inmates are forced to wear jumpsuits with no underwear or socks. Awesome. But, why do the female inmates get bras and underwear? Gender bias, ahoy! So, in closing, Lincoln County Jail is a one star facility with not enough staff, and the staff that they do have has a long way to go, and the food is awful, and you are just a dollar sign in their big almighty money machine.

they have a state of the art kitchen with great training and produce the best meals ever. had my fair share here and one of the best establishments i have ever stayed at. the reason i give 4 star ratings is because of the accommodations this place offers compared to other jails i have had to stay in. the reason i didn't give a 5 star rating is that ever place you have an l.e.o. you have corruption. you spend a year in this place and you will go to sleep at night thinking--- WOW!
