Awesome location close to the interstate! Fall colors are beyond belief! Placid clear waters of the lake, are therapeutic to a thirsty soul. Reasonably priced. Laundromat on the grounds. Clean. Quiet. Professional, courteous and helpful staff.

Beautiful campground ran by wonderful people! Nice rustic cabins right in the lake! Going to start booking it every year!

cabins are very outdated. We are okay with oughing it\ but compared to the other cabins we have stayed around in Maine, these are definitely in need of some TLC. There are 2 double beds and a rollaway bed, the mattresses are very rough, but wrapped in plastic, I assume for covid. The mattresses are spring and you lay on them and can feel the bottom of the bed. THere is no heat, or insulation, so bring a heated blanket or little heater. We had to bring our own linen, pillows, towels, blankets etc. There is a stove, but small and a sink. It is not very clean, but I wouldn't say dirty. There is writing on all the walls. Again, if you are just looking to have a shelter over you and aware there is no heat, a poor mattress, then no worries. We just want to be clear and transparent. The coffee maker had lots of hair and dust and unsure when it was last used, so we didn't use it. There is a fridge. There is a toilet, but no shower. The showers are part of a campground shower house, which we didn't see or use.

Extremely rude owners, first they gave us (2 adults and 2 children)a tent spot that was between 2 parked cars without even enough room to set up a tent then when we asked for a different spot by the water, which we paid extra for, the woman owner was extremely rude and swearing at us in front of our children the proceeded to scream at us gain for driving 7 mph in a 5 mph zone, again swearing then said we had to leave because WE were swearing \and this is a family place\ and last but not least called the POLICE because WE were the ones being out of line. Needless to say I WILL tell everyone I know NOT to go to this train wreck of a place especially if you have children!!! Would give NO stars if I could!
