Barrows has been so great to work with especially through the difficulties of the pandemic. I had to reschedule so many times because we weren’t ready for our blinds to be installed and they were so accommodating. I specifically worked with Matt and he made the decision making so easy for my husband and I. I can’t wait to work with him when I’m ready to pick out curtains!
The room-darkening shade we purchased did not work properly when installed and when I called I was impressed that the installers had already alerted the office of the problem. I cannot say enough about how responsive and kind Barrows was. They immediately took responsibility and assured me that they would correct this which they did by ordering a new shade. This is a very classy and highly professional operation!
Requested an appointment online on Nov 30, they contacted me on Dec 2, and we scheduled a visit in home for Dec 10 to measure the windows and all that. On Dec 10, I got a text that they couldn't make it as the person in charge didn't feel good to come... It's Dec 29 and still haven't heard from them. Unbelievable!!
Outstanding experience! Both of our bedroom's room darkening shades broke within a day of each other. This is problematic under normal circumstances, it was compounded for us because my husband is a frontline healthcare worker who has been working ever changing shifts; this necessitates his need to sleep during the day at times. Virginia arranged contact free drop off and pick up to repair our blinds. She also refused to let us pay. Her kindness was so greatly appreciated; she has helped my husband immensely. We have not yet been in our home a year and will be looking for new window treatments once we are on the other side of the pandemic. We will absolutely be returning to Barrows!
