I purchased a gas fireplace for my new construction. The total purchase price including a 1,200 installation charge was 14,500.00. The stove hasn't worked, having no flame since the installation. After three service calls they are telling me the problem is low natural gas pressure. The service technician, my plumber and the Southern Connecticut Gas company all used meters to check my pressure at the fireplace and all came up with the same pressure which was well within the factory specifications listed everywhere including the plate on the stove. The owner, Tom Swan has told me that they will not send anyone out again. Thanks for nothing Tom! The owners have been stubborn, arrogant and no help at all. It appears to me there's a systematic lack of regard after the sale with lack of training and communication between the staff. I do not recommend this company

If I could give negative stars, I would. These people are atrocious and incompetent. They only care about you when you're dropping thousands of dollars on a stove. Once they have your money, forget it. Please buy a stove anywhere but Black Swan or you'll regret it for a long time. Missed appointments, rude customer service, just awful all around.

Not sure who these people are who are getting great service out of Black Swan. Not my experience. Buyer beware. Customer service is a bit lacking, shall we say. Expect to be treated rudely. I guess if you have low expectations then this place is ok.

Had to call during busy season to get a gas insert serviced. Cannot say enough good things about this company. They were quickly responsive to an internet request, responsive to all phone calls-even when we forgot our appointment and had to call to ask when it was, incredible customer service through the phone. Another company had come out and cleaned our gas insert incorrectly. The servicemen corrected the mistake, was incredibly police and nice, on time, and so much better than ever anticipated. Thank you, Black Swan! Will be 100% be using again for future needs.
