5 stars for the telephone customer service. 3 stars for shipping....my order arrived a day late but it was frozen so that's a good thing. The crab legs ordered were supposed to be 1-1 1/2 lbs each. I received legs that were 3/4 with one that was just under a pound. Also ordered 2lbs of claws....frozen, I have 1 1/2 lbs. I'll be back to advise on the actual taste / quality of the seafood but am underwhelmed at the weight and delayed shipping.

I placed my first Tanner’s Seafood order on Monday, 1, 2020 late afternoon and asked for Wednesday delivery 6/3. My order arrived at 10:30am on 6/3. It was package phenomenally. I opened the box and inside was a styrofoam cooler with 2 cooler packs and rock frozen seafood. As I removed my seafood it all looked so fresh and good. The Cod Loins were the best I’ve ever seen and couldn’t wait to have them (I did for diner that night) Delicious!!! Unbelievable quality!!! The sea scallops look amazing as does the Rock Fish and the smoked candied haddock. I also order lobster ravioli and king crab ravioli. I know I’ve only enjoyed one item so far but I’m a believer in Tanner’s Seafood and will be a customer forever. Everything thing you read on their website is true! They are an honest quality seafood purveyor. Thank you Tanner’s!
I am not one to post negative reviews but I felt inclined to. Ordered 10lbs of King crabs back in November to arrive 2 days prior to Xmas. Also purchased the weather delay just in case for extra.. The shipment was overnighted on the 12/22 to arrive on the 23rd. By the 24th FedEx showed the package was still sitting in a storage location in my town. I emailed Tanner and was assured that the packages have enough dry ice that they are good for 3 days. The shipment did not arrived until noon on 12/26th with all the dry ice melted as a I expected for sitting at the FedEx location for over 3 days. I reached out to Tanner and explained the situation and told them I even purchased the weather/shipping delay insurance just in case and basically didn't hear anything back from them. Wont be ordering again from them. I can understand this is a difficult year and with Covid vaccine distributions can potentially delay shipping items. However, to ignore my concerns and leave me with potentially spoiled food item even after I purchased the weather/shipping delay insurance is very unprofessional and doesn't deserve my money in the future.
Bought 100 worth of product, but was unaware the cold smoked salmon would eat like jerky (it's inedible for a meal). When I called the store, they would not stand by the product -- rather they said they would offer me 5% off my next order. Their other products were great, but I would expect better service. I would blame Ashley, the uniformed manager on how this was handled. You don't slap a good customer in the face. That's bad.
Dropped off our fish filleted and portioned and these guys vac sealed and flash froze for a very reasonable price. Pickup was easy and fish was packaged and sealed well! Would highly recommend!
