Similar experience to Blake. We pulled up for shelter during a lightning storm while kayaking the White River. The owner of this dump came barreling into the property and proceeded to threaten another family who had done the same. His wife then turned to my wife and spewed more threats. When we calmly tried to explain that we were trying to avoid lightning his response was, “that’s the weather. It’s not my fault.” He also tried to claim he owned the river in front of his campground. Later, when we retold our story to the kayak company they said he had brandished a firearm on another family in the same situation on a previous trip. Of course, we were not there for that event, but beware. Something is obviously not right with this individual. Our own little slice of Deliverance in Noblesville.

Not a bad little campground. Owners are trying to fix it up. They charge 10 per car to fish, however we went later in the day and dropped to price to 5. RV 30 and tent 20 per night. Lots of wildlife on the river i.e ducks, cranes, harions, turtles, geese, and fish. Was able to catch a few carps around 16 inches long, and lots of sunfish. Camping spots are small and kind of open but being on the river made it better

We've tried several times to book a site with this campground. Mailbox was full and we weren't able to leave a message. Then a child answered, wouldn't allow me to speak with an adult and said 'if I didn't like speaking to a kid then I could speak to another campground' and hung up. Do not recommend trying to book this place at all.

Just getting ready to head home. We have been here 5 days and enjoyed it. The owners were great to us and I have a hard time believing some of the negative comments about them. The park is about like the state parks out west. If you want swimming pools and small sites this is not for you. The setting on the river is beautiful and peaceful so you have to entertain yourself. The fishing has been good. From our understanding the owners bought it almost 3 years ago and it was very neglected. They are bringing it back as they go. We cant’t wait to see it in another couple of years! We will definitely be back.

A very nice rustic setting. Because of frequent recent river flooding, which beautifully borders the entire 35 acres, the owner has had difficulty keeping up with road repair and grass cutting. I thoroughly enjoyed being there in the peaceful rustic riverfront property and would look forward to returning or recommending it to friends.

Very friendly and helpful. Couldnt get Into White River Campground, booked here and was so glad I did. River Bend was quiet, great camp sites, White River campers were crammed in like sardines. Road Into camp ground needs work, but if all you want is a great site and peace and quiet this is it.
