Our overall family experience here was okay ,(2 adults, kids 8 & 11). Gave us a nice insight to the area and floating on the Elk river. The campsite with electricity and the shelter was decent. Just didn't know it was right next to a Tyson processing plant. We could really smell it the first day we were there. Either we got used to it or the wind changed because we didn't smell it after. Friends who stayed in a cabin before said they didn't even know the plant was there. If camping with a tent, the canoe sites were nice and flat with trees overhead. Many showers (cost 0.50) and outdoor sinks as well as hand sanitizers between showers and bathrooms. We did the 5 mile float on a raft which we enjoyed. We definitely will use tubes next time and see if there is a campsite that offers a shorter trip. My 8 year old was done within 1 hour into it. The river was also low so we look forward to trying again when it's higher. The bus ride to the river was quiet. No information or conversation from the driver or ranch hand. Wish we would have been given a heads up on what to expect, i.e. low water levels to push the raft, little blue signs along the river that say how much farther you have (some where covered by branches and difficult to see).

We had a blast both times we went. Ended up burning, but was worth it! I suggest canoeing, it’s more fun and relaxing. I’m the rafts your constantly sitting with your leg at a weird angle and if someone isn’t rowing, you’re screwed!

The campground is nice, very shady and spacious, the river access on the Northern side of the campground (we were in space 513, one of the best spots) is not great but the biggest issue is there is a huge outdoor bar that plays extremely loud music until after 1am (despite advertised quiet hours of 11pm - 7am). The training runs nearby and has trains honking horns 24 hours a day. It is a great spot and great floats on the Elk River nearby but it is VERY noisy

Place was amazing. River Ranch Resort was an amazing place to go for a great float trip with friends and family. Kind Staff, and all the items like the canoes, and rafts were in amazing shape. All in all an amazing family oriented place to go to let go!!

Had many out door activities for all ages. The float trip was awesome as well! About 2 miles or 4 hours too long for me personally, but aside from that I loved this place! The wedding was beautiful above all!
