Came by the shop today and got a few things done that I needed. Staff of extremely helpful and don’t sell you on bs. The tech Carlos took no time to finish in my truck and was also very informative. This is where I get all my sound system needs.

When I called the owner of this store, he quoted me a head unit, 4 speakers, and subwoofer for around 800 including labor if I bought the parts from him. When I arrived, I requested the deal we spoke about on the phone, he said he will only give me a head unit, 2 speakers, and a subwoofer and handed me the ticket to pay him 1,300. I should've left, but I wanted to get the work done so I stuck it through. I said this is nothing like we spoke about on the phone when you quoted me two extra speakers and now you're charging me 500 more than what we spoke about on the phone. His employee screwed up the installation that I had to take it back to Chavez Electronics two times for them to try and fix it. The music sounded so bad when I turned it on like the speakers were about to blow or had already been blown. His employee would wiggle the wires connected to the back of the speakers and adjust the amp settings. Nothing worked and the speakers sounded so bad and distorted that I stopped using them and took them to another shop. They found out that one speaker Chavez Electronics installed was touching the door, shorting the connection, the other speaker settings on the amp were so high, it blew the speaker out, and the left, right, and subwoofer wires were plugged into the wrong ports on the amp. The owner is not running an honest business. He's trying to make as much money as he can possibly get away with. You would be wise to go somewhere else.

Pleased with install and overall service. Had some challenges in the beginning but they were very professional and resolved the issue quickly. Would recommend.

I want to say thanks to Chavez & Mr. Victor “installer” for everything they did for me today! This is my second time dealing with them. Man Chavez was real reasonable, easy to work with, communicates effectively and got the job done SAME DAY!!! I wanted to upgrade one of my Jaguars and they got it done fast when I called and explained what I wanted to do. Mr. Victor was a very very cool guy lol, he showed me all the features of my new stuff he installed, showed me all what he was doing during install and was overall helpful. I recommend them to anybody that’s looking to get work done from a business that’s quick, reasonable on prices, and communicates all thru the process every step of the way. Definitely will be getting more done two them in the future.
