ZERO STARS...we reserved a car a week in advance and they did not honor the reservation. We reserved it for 8am as soon as they opened and we showed up and there was no car. They told us there would be another car between 10am-12pm, we showed up at 11 and they said “the person hasnt returned the car yet” and didn’t know when they would. (This is BS because car rentals have a specific time for return). They told us they would call us back and we never got a call back. We went to enterprise and was able to get a car within an hour and NEVER received a call back from Hertz. Terrible customer service. All these 5 star reviews is probably because they paid full price. It seems as if they will give your car away if you reserved the same day and pay full price rather than planning ahead for the discount. Never again. DO NOT GO HERE.

The service was fast and friendly. I received the car externally a bit dirty and had a bit of existing damage but it was clean inside. (They weren't able to wash it due to some environmental excavation project) return was equally as quick and friendly.. I washed the car and returned better than received.. overall great experience..

When I arrived to pickup a rental on 2/12 that I'd booked via Priceline, the attendants informed myself and three other customers who entered after me that they were out of sedans. When I asked if they could work something out with a nearby location, one attendant told me that they had already checked all around and that all nearby Hertzes were out of cars too. This turned out to be untrue, as when I later found myself on the phone with Hertz Customer Support, they confirmed that the closest location did in fact have a mid-size sedan available. (I opted not to rent this vehicle however, as the support rep declined to price-match my reservation even though it represented a downgrade in vehicle class) I also asked the local franchise attendant to please cancel my reservation, and he firmly insisted that he could not as he had no way of contacting anyone who handled Priceline reservations. This too turned out to be untrue, as when I ultimately called Priceline to cancel, they immediately transferred me to the Hertz Customer Support rep mentioned above. The last thing I'll point out is that the lot was full of cars... in fact, I had parked next to the exact make/model listed on my reservation. I'm guessing the attendants at this location had done a poor job of processing returned vehicles for subsequent rentals. Rather than improve their process, or take ownership, they chose to lie that all locations were out of cars, and that they could do nothing to help me.
