This church is amazing. The people here are so friendly, and love and accept you like family. The teachings are all focused on Jesus Christ and how we can come closer to Him. Family is also a huge focus in this church. It's always a highlight of my week.

I've been attending here for almost five years now. I find it to be a very family friendly Christian congregation. They have missionaries there to answer questions. Classes for all ages. I've met some of my best friends there.

I was a member of this church for over 60 years. As many do, I served in a number of responsible positions including leadership positions and was a member in good standing. Over the last several years I began to finally see many descrepencies between the LDS church history as taught to the membership and the facts as presented in the historical record. Many things I was taught as truth were lies. Among them were contradictory accounts of the first vision of Joseph Smith, the founder, about his polygamous marriages to teenage girls as well as to other men's wives, polygamous marriages by Church authorities beyond the 1920s, and gross changes in the doctrine and canonized scriptures peculiar to the LDS church. One of those called the Pearl of Great Price, which was claimed to have been translated from ancient egyptian papyrii has been found to be complete hoax. We were taught that church authorities accepted no pay, buy they actually receive liberal compensation packages. In fact, all of the church's financial affairs are murky and shrouded in secrecy. The doctrine contradicts Christ's gospel of saved alone by Grace alone through faith alone in him alone. They say that they are the estored\ church, but restored from what or when? There is no evidence to show that most of the rituals, requirements, and customs of the church ever existed, especially not in the church Jesus organized during his ministry. The members are wonderful. But this alone cannot overcome the problems with its history or doctrine or the cult like indoctrination I received as a child. What I have said here is just a small part of the truth. Be smart and do your own research!
