The people who care for the museum take a personal pride in what they do and shows. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable about what is displayed. I have studied planes and history for 40years and it's great that the tour guide still knows alot more than anyone in the tour. I am proud and thankful for these individuals who served our country and love to educate others on our history and the sacrifices by so many. Thank you.
Visited here today. Awesome museum. Wonderful tour guide - Mr. Blatmann ( I believe that is what his name tag said). Great place to learn about the people who played an important role in aviation. Exhibits are very well displayed. Definitely recommend a visit and plan on spending a minimum of 4 hours.
Love the old planes, my son and I enjoyed climbing in the cockpit of quite a few. Great experience putting your hands on some of these mechanical marvels and the history behind them. Fantastic facility with polite, hardworking and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff! Couldn't believe just how much they new about each piece of equipment. Made for a great afternoon with my son and father.
Nice place to take the family. Lot of great memorabilia and some pretty cool aircraft.
