Great family feel for a great time on the river! We had a blast and all the details were taken care of. They will keep your keys on a rack for you so you don't lose them in the river!

Service was good, but didn't like the \sit on\ style kayaks they rent. I'm 6ft tall and my feet hit right in between two slots for your feet, which makes it much more tiring to paddle since you can't brace your feet. That on top of the non-adjustable legnth paddles made for a very long day. Baraboo river is sssssllllloooooooowwwww, and our trip was mostly thru farmland, so not much pretty to look at either. Was nice to get out, but wouldn't go here again.
We took trip 3 which was 8 miles with some fun rapids. My kids ages 9 and 12 handled them just fine. Great service and equipment.
I can't wait to come back! This was my first kayaking experience and it was absolutely wonderful! Trip 4 took us about 2.5 hours and we saw all kinds of wildlife including a bald eagle. It was a great deal and we highly recommend visiting!
I've been on quite a few kayaking trips but this was the best experience by far. The life jackets are clean and not smelly or discolored like so many other places. They disinfect and clean them after every use. The kayaks are open style and are great for any level of expertise. The staff is also very friendly. The kayak rental store is in the same building as an auto mechanic shop and so I wasn't sure were to go and was kind of walking around outside. The staff saw this and came outside and kindly directed to me the area I needed to be. Lastly, the water is perfect. About half of the trip I went on was calm and scenic while the second half was a little faster. I know there are different options depending on your desire and amount of time you want to spend on the river. If you're looking for something to do, I highly recommend the Baraboo River Canoe and Kayak.
