I had the most amazing birth expierence again at Magnolia. This was my second birth there! MAGNOLIA IS FAMILY. From walking in being greeted by tamara to my midwife Jamarah. I can't emphasize enough how much they care about you and your baby and partner. the attention to you and what your needs are is what brought me back here for my second pregnancy. They empower you make you fearless help you believe and trust in yourself. They are organized and diligent. My partner and I took all the classes magnolia had to offer which are incredible... and something I highly recommend. please do your research on having a out of hospital birth and if its for you the only place you should have your baby in south Florida in my opinion is magnolia birth house.

The Magnolia Birth Center has a highly knowledgeable team of medical professionals that showed me compassion, patience and a tailored approach to my needs and prenatal care. I looked forward to every visit knowing I would be treated with empathy and kindness. If you are tired of being “processed” like just another number at an overbooked Ob/gyn office, Consider Magnolia Birth House. Their midwives are caring, Dr Spence (their back up Dr) is fantastic, and their extended support team of Doula’s and Lactation consultants are the best. My doula, Olga was my hero during my very quick labor that ended up being a home water birth. She responded to my call at lightening speed and helped me to find a calm strength to deliver and catch my own baby. What an incredible experience.

I had not the very best experience with this establishment. The staff appears to be friendly at first, however the whole operation is lacking organization and professionalism. I had very healthy normal pregnancy, exercised and took very good care of myself. I did everything Magnolia was recommending. I was due to deliver and it happened as scheduled. However, because it was my first birth, I was opening very slowly, which is common for first time moms. My labor was taking longer, which is normal up to 48 hours. I was transferred to a hospital. Magnolia didn’t prepare me for that. My doula didn’t prepare me for that, she said that I don’t need to worry. I was promised a refund, because my birth didn’t take place at Magnolia. I paid all the fees to Magnolia and NO REFUND is issued many months later. The staff stopped communicating with me. Im really disappointed by this kind of treatment. Not only that I end up at the hospital and now have to pay a lot of money, i also get no money back for services that were not performed at Magnolia. I won’t recommend Magnolia to anyone. Im about to take a legal action due to this nonsense. The advice and care I received was also extremely poor. I was supposed to visit Magnolia after birth. I was totally neglected. I was told to go to ER to check on my incision. Seriously? I was told by Patricia to go back to the hospital where I delivered. Really? The experience was THE WORST! I was completely mistreated and misguided. The woman on the phone- Patricia, don’t qualify to give any advice. Worst experience. Lastly, the doula that i hired - Ms. Na’imah Delpeche was not companionate at all. She appeared to be very unnecessarily strict and rude at times. I paid her a top dollar for the service which she did not fulfill. Since I was transferred to the hospital she didn’t come with me, due to Covid. However, she refused to refund any portion of the fee. She was very rude and unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER.

I had such a great experience with magnolia! I felt so confident through the whole journey with their staff and resources. I hired Olga as my doula. She was very helpful with any questions I had along the way and referred me to specialists such as massage and acupuncture when needed. The support I received from Magnolia and Olga was exactly what I needed. My labor was hard and I had a hemorrhage that my midwife (Dellareece) dealt with in the calmest manner. I’ve never wanted to give birth in a hospital and being at magnolia birth house I felt at home there but also safe and in good hands. I especially love their postpartum visits to your home after baby is born. I had 3 visits from midwifes and one visit from Olga before my 6 week postpartum checkup. That care was especially appreciated because I had a much harder recovery than I had expected to experience. Even now being 8 weeks postpartum I still find magnolia staff helpful in finding resources. Patricia has also been so amazing, always easy to reach and so helpful with any issue I needed resolved. Such a warm and kind staff who feel more like a family than that cold “doctor” vibe who are just in and out with patients. My prenatal visits were always calm and slow with the midwifes really listening and I never felt rushed like I was on a time limit for an appointment. 10/10 recommend!
