Really unfortunate that a small business like this would gouge new customers. I called looking for a pair of watch pins/spring bars for a watch band. Keep in mind you can buy 360 of these little pins of various sizes on Amazon for 6. Basch's quoted me 15 for two installed and 8 for the pair of pins if I did it myself. 8 for TWO pins! Keep in mind these are tiny stainless steel pins. I've never used this place before and wouldn't consider them for anything going forward.
I've been there three or four times for various repairs on jewelry. They are very friendly and provide very good service. if you need any jewelry repaired or need to buy any new pieces, I highly recommend them. I'll be going back in a few weeks to drop off my watch for repair as well.
My only go to jewelers around. They're experts in time pieces, clocks, diamonds, gems and all things sparkly and lovely..talk about friendly and knowledgeable! They're truly artisans.
