What better way to make family memories while also making new friends? The professionals at The Scuba Shop recently certified our teenage boys for their basic open waters while also making sure we parents had a refresher course for safety purposes. The experience was such fun and each part of the journey gave us confidence that choosing scuba as a family activity was the right thing to do. Since you can't swim there, drive... fast but not too fast... and meet them for yourselves. Rick, Dawn and Carl have the ability to make you feel welcomed and at ease. If you're lucky, you may even get an Amory sighting! (Ask them when you get there!) Thanks to everyone at the Scuba Shop. We will be back again and again.

Only open 4 days a week. Refuses to stay open 10 more minutes so I can get there after work. I have tried many times and they always say o sorry\ so clearly they don't care about helping the customer or making a sale. They get 3 stars because rents are cheap and the guy with the long hair that works for them is an awesome employee
This is the place to go for any of your scuba needs or to Rick and Dawn on one of their destiny scuba trips. I usually stop by several times a month to rent tanks to clean & vacuum my pool. It's my excuse to excape in my backyard and test my equipment. Rick, Dawn & Carl are wonderful folk, go visit them.
I love the Scuba Shop!! Dawn and Rick are amazing. I was super happy with every single experience I had from when they helped me purchase my mask/fins/snorkel at the store to getting my open water certification. They do great deals and they're really consultative and helpful and friendly at the store. Rick was my instructor for the open water courses, and he did a great job teaching and making sure we had everything down. Also, Dawn was an awesome co-instructor/backup dive buddy for me when we were learning the skills. I felt TOTALLY prepared to go out as a new diver, set my gear up, be a safe diver, etc. on my first group boat dive in south Florida! They really know diving, and they are fantastic at what they do. I'd recommend any of my friends or family to go here for a great experience and great value!
Really nice clean shop with brand new equipment. The new owners have remodeled and cleaned up the entire shop. With a fresh new look. One of the best instructors in the metroplex is staying on as an instructor. She is making sure that people who already payed are still getting the certification even though the new owners are losing money fulfilling the previous owners commitment. I call that going above and beyond. Give this shop a try if you wanna help honest, sincere people your business.
