Prior to contracting for the work, the folks at Watson Tile and Stone worked very hard with us to meet our budget and ensure we would be happy with the result.. Their work was excellent, and completed around our schedules. We got exactly what we wanted and at a very fair price. Some additional detail: We wanted a master bathroom remodel to improve our chances of staying in the house longer rather than moving to a retirement facility. We also hoped to increase closet space, but had a very strict budget based on our pre-arranged financing. We prepared a rough floor plan and requested bids from 5 suppliers. Only 4 actually came and submitted a bid. There was almost 50% difference in cost and there was not sufficient detail to compare what we would actually be getting. We decided to look further and found Watson Tile and Stone. Prior to turning in their bid, they spent considerable time with us looking at our existing bathroom and closet area, helping select the exact material and colors that we wanted and finding the best price on those, and turning in a specific line-item bid so we could purchase and furnish certain items (like bathroom faucets) ourselves if we wanted to. They told us which sub-contractors they planned to use and we were able to talk with each before giving the go-ahead. For one part of the work, we decided to use a sub which we had worked with before, and they were fine with that. It took quite a bit of our time and Watson's before we had a contract, but we felt that they really cared about the job and not just the money.
