Terrible. Worst renting experience in 20 years. Some good people work for them but Gaughan is a bad company. Flooding twice with a response that took days. Sick every day from mold in floors and walls. Walls so thin I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Entrance doors busted propped open constantly. Smells so thick with weird chemicals used to cover it. Suspicious people lingering around the property often. Tool box on truck busted into second week of living there. On and on and on. And like a poster above noted, they decided to \skim\ some money off for cleaning after move out even though that unit was WAY cleaner than when I moved in and every little thing on the multiple page checklist was done. Was told unit was ent ready\ and would get full deposit returned and then they pull that. Phone calls to their office do not get returned. At one point they raised my rent 12% with a two week notice, even though the lease says a tenant is to be given 60 days notice. The response was essentially, \that sucks for you.\ I can't say it enough: stay away. I'm so glad to be out of there. Stay away.

So hear is the deal... This place is not new and never will be so don't expect it to be. With that being said it is pretty darn awesome! The lake is literally out your back door and they have a very nice floating dock to swim and enjoy the lake from. Residents are all very nice and friendly and feels like a safe place for kids to be around. I have two kids that love the water and we are able to enjoy the lake as if we spent 500K on a lake home but we did not. The management company has been very good to work with also. They do have a towing policy so if you do not have permit park in the visitor parking or you will get towed. I did have an indecent when we first moved here when we did not know this policy but Kelly helped us out and made everything right and made a very positive out of a negative situation. She has been awesome! Five stars all the way for Kelly! Long story short I would recommend North shore to anyone that enjoys the lake and wants to live on the water but does not have the budget to buy a lake house. Our unit even has a stream to look over from our balcony, the kids enjoy watching the ducks and fish. This is a very cool place and don't think there are many apartments that will allow this type of access to the lake like the way North shore is set up. You can even keep a canoe or kayak on the property if you have one. Highly recommend North shore apartments to people like us that can't get enough of the lake life.

This dump gets 0 Stars, but I had to choose 1 to post! This is the most poorly managed property you could possibly imagine. The office management staff and the onsite manager are the most unprofessional, incompetent, unqualified, pathetic bunch of idiots on the planet! They higher white trash to run their property and it is apparent! We currently have been without a dishwasher and an oven for 4 weeks and I was locked out of my garage for 8 days before they could get someone over to open it; it took 10 minutes! They will find a reason to withhold a portion of your deposit and lie straight through their yellow teeth about it! Stay as far away as you can from this nightmare! This is a Gaughan Property! They are criminals!
