In a way I hate to give this review because it may bring more people to this great place, but I will. This is a beautiful state park with lovely camp sites on a beautiful lake. The park is well maintained and it shows. I'm certain I will be back to stay here again.

This was our first time being at North Toledo Bend Dam a very nice Campground very quiet Campground we got to enjoy what about nine other camp the camp hose was very nice with a very nice dog the Camp staff we met when we were checking in the lady was very friendly overall we will be back again

Beautiful sunrise and sets, pink and purple painted skies. The lake is stunning, calm, huge. Beautiful tall trees, the stars were lit up. Clean showers and in general park. Has piers, fish cleaning stations. Everyone was very friendly. Sandy helped us a lot over the phone before even arriving. Able to rent a canoe or flat-bottom boat was a nice bonus. Fishing we caught 2 turtles and 2 baby cats. Lord bring tarp! Daddy long legs and spiders were everywhere. Didn't take away from the experience at all. They go away during the day. Food, ice, fish bait were all 10 to 20 minutes away.

Great campground. Would have been four stars but no full hook ups. No trash cans close to the camp grounds. Great late fall winter camp ground. I'm sure the mosquitoes are bad during the summer.
