Beach on one side and Paddle NC and intercostal waterway on the other. Perfect. Make reservations with Paddle NC and see dolphins and beautiful birds and wild life. Thanks again Paddle NC for being patient today while blocking your driveway today. Keep up the great service to our beautiful island.

I love this spot when I'm just visiting for a day trip! They have bathrooms, 4 stalls for each gender, running water for the toilets and sinks to wash your hands. Plus they have out door showers to rinse off. This is always my go to spot. Free parking too.

You can sit quietly and watch dolphins. What's not to like?

Please \like\ our reviews. Wheelchair accessible BUT the bathrooms have a divider wall which do make it super challenging to get inside the bathroom and curve around that dividing wall and into the handicap stall. This place was so fun. This location has public bathrooms, outside shower and lots of parking. There are wheelchair access ramps on the front and back of this public access spot. There is no life guard on duty so swim at your own risk. There also are several non- flushing toilets in the womens room. They just simply do not flush well. They do have someone service them everyday every few hours though. This place was so family friendly. Other folks had music, fishing poles, surf boards, skim boards and body boards. The sand seemed pretty. We were able to find quite a few shark teeth on the shore by shallowly digging. Water was glassy and beautiful. Beach Checklist : sun cream, snacks, umbrella, chair, lots of fun rafts, towels, flip flops, cooler of ice, sun glasses, friends and fam. Some folks did have their pets. If you do not plan to spend your evening hours here, take a left as you leave the parking lot and on the left is a fabulous lil sushi spot within a mile or so. It is the perfect way to wrap up your day on the seashore. (Further down the road there is also another public access beach with playground. It is uncovered and no showers.)
