These photos I am sharing are before the restoration of the lighthouse, as they were taken in 2019. The last time I was here was in December of 2020 and the Lighthouse is being restored. As you can see from my photographs, it is in need of some paint and perhaps other weather protection upgrades.

A short flat paved trail leads from the parking lot out to the Lighthouse. It seems to be used by golf carts as well for the course nearby. You can walk around the Lighthouse and another trail takes you out to a wooden platform with a nice view back towards the Lighthouse and the golf course but I was expecting an ocean view and that wasn't happening. Easy walk to a picturesque Lighthouse.
such an amazing history around it. beautiful view of the ocean. you can see ships big and small. they have a good selection for the gift shop as well!
One of our favorite lighthouse’s to visit. The history is rich and the story of how they moved the lighthouse is incredible. Good place for a family walk!
It was under renovation when I went, but the location and views are spectacular!
