When it comes to family reunions in our family, it is difficult to find a place that fits us all (over 25 of us). Each family agreed that this place was perfect. Not only did it have plenty of room for us all to fit comfortably, the Kobeys did a great job making us feel welcome, even putting a welcome basket with treats for us. The kids loved it. The setting is very pleasant as it is in the forest, but close enough to town that it doesn't take forever to run to the store (under 10 minutes away). There were plenty of towels and places to hang them to dry (amazingly enough). The kids enjoyed the pool table and the theater room upstairs for movie night. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely book again if we visit Pinetop again.

Great cabin in a tranquil location. We stayed at the enormous Ski Lodge & Golf Retreat cabin. It is stocked with everything you will need for your trip to the pines. There are a lot of rules and restrictions that come along with this rental, but if you follow them you will have no issues. Communication with the owner Guy was spot on. He was very reachable and responded quickly. The fully fenced backyard is perfect for the fur babies. The grass front yard is enjoyable for yard games. Tons of parking. The upstairs media room/loft space is huge and was a great gathering point for all the kids. The game room was a plus as well. If they had a 4 1/2 star review I would have given that. I am only deducting a star because the cabin is dark inside. I realize it is situated in the pines and doesn't allow for much natural light, but I would suggest replacing the interior lighting with LED daylight bulbs, it would make all the difference. You can't go wrong with this cabin.
The Golf & Ski retreat cabin was AMAZING! Had plenty of room for my family and I, plus they are pet friendly! The cabin had every amenity that was needed and was stocked appropriately. We received our security deposit with 24 hours and we will be staying again.
Great cabin for a big group! Lots of amenities near by. We enjoyed our time and company thoroughly.
The cabin is beautiful and the owners are very nice! The only negative comment I would make is there is lots of rules and signs everywhere! I am aware that the cabin is someone’s home, but all the rules and signs posted everywhere you look, almost makes you feel uncomfortable. We had a great time, just don’t like all the signs posted (hanging in every room, binders, frames with rules in every room, and a extensive checkout checklist).
My family and I stayed in the large cabin for 2 1/2 weeks. We found the location to be amazing with many trailheads nearby, parking in the driveway was ample and the kitchen was well stocked. There are a couple of things that I’d wished the kitchen had, such as a coffee grinder (I bought whole beans) and a basting brush. In the grand scheme of things, that’s minuscule, and the kitchen had everything else I needed. Our trip was in the summer, so here are a few things we did: horseback riding (near golf and down by Porter Mountain - Porter was a more beautiful trail), kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding on Rainbow lake, lots of golf days (price is right, especially after 3PM for the whole family), hiking and every morning around 5AM/6AM we’d go driving off-road to see the elk. We saw deer, antelope, elk, lots of cows, skunks and other wild animals. Down time laying in the hammock while reading was also a highlight (we brought an Eno for the front, there is one hammock in the back already). We so enjoyed ourselves, and are thankful for the opportunity to rent such a lovely home. The owner was very responsive anytime I needed to reach out.
We had a wonderful weekend here with friends!! The golf course was fantastic as well!!
It's good I really enjoyed it
