Book early as the days filled up fairly quickly, but we did have great weather. Our guide, Dan, was awesome. A pro. And he was easy to talk to. We had a group of 4 and a couple of us were nervous about heights. But he made everything so calm, and comfortable. Really enjoyed it. With a clear day, the views were tremendous.

I took my wife up on a hot air balloon ride for her birthday and OMG what a ride and experience. Our pilot was Blair, a seasoned balloon pilot of 32 years and someone who makes it more than an excursion, he makes it an experience for you and those that you're riding with. Our flight lasted about 1 hour and 20 minutes and gave us captivating views of the Red Rocks, down into dry creek and through the Coconino National Forest landscape. It was so peaceful, serene and with Blairs knowledge...educational. He has quite a sense of humor and fields any questions that you throw his way and will make you laugh with almost every response! After landing, all of the balloon crews that went out (5 balloons total and about 20 people) met at our drop site for a champagne (sparkling wine) toast and breakfast pastry where we all then said our goodbyes and headed back. The entire crew at Northern Lights Balloon Expedition made not only our experience but my wife's birthday exciting, amazing and wonderfully memorable. We cannot thank you and your team enough for such an incredible journey. We'll not only be back but we will be sending everyone we know to Northern Lights!

We decided last minute to try to book a tour, the line kept giving the busy signal but we were persistent in calling back. Fortunately for us eventually we got an answer and were able to book for the very next day! The experience was once in a lifetime, between the setup, flight, landing/packing of the balloon. It was all done so well and our team (Ron the captain, and Grant the chaser) made the experience even more personal and enjoyable.

From start to finish we had a wonderful experience with Northern Lights Hot Air Balloons. The woman, I wish I caught her name, who answers the main line is very polite and friendly to work with. We went up on 1/18 with our pilot Ron in a basket of 11 people. It was a bucket list experience to see Sedona at sunrise. Ron was full of knowledge, doing this for over 30 years. Would recommend this to anyone when visiting!

We did a balloon ride with Northern Light Balloon Expeditions on December 19. They were responsive, professional and on time. Their pilots and support staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The views of Sedona by balloon are fantastic. They gave us good tips of other things to do in Sedona. The mimosas and pastry after the ride was a really nice touch. Highly recommend them for a bucket list experience.
