I had my first pregnancy with Dr Grisham. I very much enjoyed him and thought all was going well. We had sonograms and I went to the MFM for the normal 12 week scan. I also had the Prenatal cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening and everything came back great with no problems. All was reported as normal and great. I had subsequent normal and regular visits with Dr Grisham and a sonogram by him at 17 weeks, where he reported that all was fine. Then, I had my normal 20 week scan with the MFM (literally 3 weeks after my reported “normal” scan with Grisham) and the MFM immediately said there was a HUGE hole in my baby’s spine. My baby girl had severe open spina bifida, hydrocephalus of the brain and other related issues. The problems were so obvious that I could easily see them on the screen with no medical training. So, how did Dr Grisham not see these issues at all the entire time? Literally 3 weeks before I could see them? In addition to failing to disclose the abnormalities on my scans, Dr Grisham pressured me to get a C-section, emphasizing that he specializes in repairing natural births and C-sections are always better. After all of the above, I switched to a different OB who was open and honest with me and who was appalled that a C-section was recommended for a normal birth. Subsequently (after losing the baby I went to Dr Grisham for), I have had 2 healthy babies naturally with no problems and with doctors that were honest with me. I also learned that OBs often advise patients to get a C-section because they want to do it on THEIR schedule. At the end he of the day, Dr Grisham failed to inform me of fetal abnormalities of my baby, tried to schedule my labor for a non-medically necessary C-section at his convenience and literally lies to my husband and I. Do not recommend.

Today I had my first visit at Dr. Grisham's office. Deborah (not sure how she spells her name) was very kind and professional. Dr. Grisham made me feel comfortable, listened to how I was feeling, what I've experienced, and made sure I left my appointment feeling confident and informed. I initially did not want to see a male doctor, but after today's visit I will definitely be a long term client. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought me in, I left with a smile.

If you want professional care, you HAVE to visit Dr. Grisham. I feel like he's literally apart of our family. I have been a patient for over 20 years now and always received expert advice along with simple explanations and thorough recommendations. I trusted him to assist me through fertility issues, subsequent procedures, provide prenatal care and deliver all 3 of my beautiful children. He is attentive and listens to his patients. His staff is extremely down to earth, courteous and friendly at each visit. I would highly recommend him.
