There is a middle aged guy that works here in the shoe department and his service was absolutely amazing! I forgot his name but he gave me beyond 5 star service with finding the right boots. He knew so much about getting the right fit and comfort I would swear he was a podiatrist! Bravo! Someone give that guy a promotion. I was actually at REI in Yonkers the same day and the service was decent but REI shoe department in Norwalk is amazing!

Absolutely great service. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. This is THE place to go to for any and all rock climbing needs. 10/10 would recommend.
Kyle in the bike department is great, knowledgeable and gets things done quickly compared to my local bike shops. Highly recommend getting a membership and visiting this location.
Excellent shopping experience for new walking shoes. Department manager Ray was thoughtful, deliberate and careful in measuring both feet and understanding what kind of walking I do. The guy really knows his inventory and could speak to each pairs’ attributes. COVID precautions were best I’ve seen in retail: masks, social distancing, sanitation. Couldn’t ask for more. REI is run as a co-op but I sure hope their sales guys work on commission. This guy earned it!
Since COVID started this is one of my go to stores. Good selection of clothing and other items for more of an active lifestyle. REI Mobile APP is my favorite shopping app (comparing to Nike, Costco, Amazon, Target, Walmart etc) making the app shopping experience much better, which I secretly hates given the ease of spending money. Staff members are helpful and NICE. Well done.
