I have been going to this OBGYN for a couple of years for just my yearly check up and I never had a problem until today. I was discharged from the ER and diagnosed as a threaten miscarriage and was told to contact my OB to get seen ASAP. Called today and was told the earliest I could be seen was the following afternoon and I asked if I could somehow be worked in any sooner and they promised me someone would call be back to let me know. My husband and I called 4 times with no response. The 5th time we called I was told the nurse would be calling me right back and to stay by my phone. 2 hours later and no call. Tried to call again and as usual no one answers the phone. Very disappointed in this office and how they treat patients especially one who may be having a miscarriage

I take a friend to this MD. I’ve always used a different health system. I’m so impressed with Novant. The building is clean and staff is friendly. As you walk in the doors, the front desk greets with smiles. If you don’t know where you’re going, they walk you to the MD office and hold doors for you. I love my OB, but this place has made me consider switching. The nurses, staff and MDs are all kind.

I took my 17 year old niece to this facility for a procedure and I was told by an older caucasian woman, I couldn't go in the elevator and up to the office with my niece. My niece has never been through anything like that and was given medication before her procedure. When her procedure was done, my niece was discombobulated and couldn't even remember to tell me what her aftercare procedures were, nor how to find it. This experience at this facility is a reminder of how institutions like this continue to hire and carelessly uphold practices and procedures that keep African Americans at a disadvantage. I'll be writing about my full experience and how we were treated like we were idiots from the time we stepped foot in the door. Please implement and uphold trainings on bias, this is ridiculous.

I am not a fan of doctors. I try to avoid them at all costs. I've been an atrium customer for my entire life but I'm now living in Locust and the closest OBGYN is this Novant / Mint Hill location so I decided to give it a try. I have NEVER had an experience quite like this. The reception desk, the nurses, and the Doctor had the BEST customer service skills & bedside manner. I was impressed by some of the questions that Doctor Chandler asked - It was obvious he truly cares about his patient's well-being, not just physically but also emotionally. Every time I go to a Doctor, I feel rushed and not fully considered. It always seems like a revolving door business - except when it comes to waiting alone in the room - which always takes forever. I cannot stress how different this experience was. I may have waited five minutes when a nurse came in to assure me that they hadn't forgotten about me and Dr. C would be in shortly. My jaw dropped. I've waited 45 mins to an hour at Atrium facilities before without even an explanation. The entire process from beginning to end was PERFECT. I called three friends and my mother on my way home just to tell them about my experience with Novant and Dr. Chandler and how rare it seems to be...and furthermore, how sad that rareness is. I will only visit this doctor's office in the future and will continue to recommend them highly. To say I'm surprised and highly impressed is an understatement.

I just moved to Charlotte and was in need of a new gynecologist. I had a very wonderful experience here. What is normally a dreadful process was quick and painless. Both the nurse and Dr. Chandler were very thorough and polite. I am so glad that I chose to go here and will continue my visits to this office.
