I attended this parade as a little girl growing up in Charlotte. A couple of years I participated. I have moved away since then but this parade has been part of great childhood memories. I now bring my 6 year old , who throughly enjoys it, as I did. Thanks Charlotte for keeping this tradition!

Great parade, very diverse, and fun. It lasted awhile, but was very enjoyable. Get there early because it gets very crowded.

Bening a native, born and raised here... this parade has fallen. Especially since Mr. Belk no longer sponsors it. It seems to be more of a Novant Advertising than anything. Use to be represented by all surrounding high schools. Have local youth performers. Last time I'll be attending. Big gaps where it use to be filled. The city's changed a lot...and... a lot for the good but this isn't one of them. From the joy it use to bring, it's far from it...disappointing. Only get the 2 stars cause you still see folks from your past...but... just not enough anymore!!!
