My absolute favorite restaurant to show people from out of town. It’s always busy, but for good reason. The food is amazing quality and the prices are reasonable. Never had a bad experience.

Cheapest high quality sushi you can find. I really like the tuna, salmon and yellow tail. Avoid the sea urchin as it did not taste particularly fresh. Make sure you call ahead because the wait can reach over 2 hours at times...

If you are reading this, it is likely you are going to, or have had, a wonderful experience at this extraordinary restaurant. I have been alive for almost 20 years now. This doesn’t seem like very many to some, but I have been fortunate to have stepped foot on all 7 continents, and visited my fair share of countries, experienced my my fair share of cuisines, and have worked and cooked in one of the finest Italian restaurants in Detroit. However, my favorite restaurant, and Chef, is situated in a small seat restaurant off of Grand River Ave in Novi, Michigan. I try to eat Ajishin at least once a week as it is a key element in maintaining my homeostasis. My friends and I joke about how in any sign of duress, frustration, or sadness, there is only nutrient sure to cure: Ajishin. I’ve never had a wrong order, a cut too small, an udon noodle not consistent, or a roll made without artistry, grit, or love. I refuse to eat any other sushi than Ajishin. I have them favorited in my phone next to my own brother. With love and respect, Ric

Available for take out! And the food remains good, fresh, and tasty! The food there are made by Japanese chef Hence definitely authentic. Further, I really enjoyed their sushi. The vinegar rice is just right. Also, the fish and seafood are fresh making the food extra tasty and safe.
