I wish I could review their team but that would require showing up. They have been an unprofessional mess. Called me late Friday to reschedule my Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon and then didn't show up by 5pm for my estimated 10-12 hour move, stopped answering phones, and no returned calls. Now I get to pay short notice prices to someone else because they're incompetent
Absolutely the worst. I had to make a very last minute move. I scheduled the move for Sunday on the previous Tuesday. Paid them the deposit. They confirmed the 8-10am arrival time the day before along with the address. The day of the move they don't show 10min after 10 I called and had to leave a message asking where the movers were. The manager MJ called back 5mins later to verify the address. Which I did. 45 mins later MJ calls back and tells me that \unfortunately \ the movers could not come because they could not find my house. And went to the next move which would be an 8hr mobeI asked why no one contacted me and it was explained to me that their phones were not working properly and they could only communicate through FaceTime. Long story short I canceled the move and found someone else that could do it last minute. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITELY NOT YOUR MONEY.
This place was a complete joke!!! The female that I spoke to would ask a question and when giving important details of the move- she would put me on mute to talk to other people. I actually heard her shutting the door to the car while speaking with me- as I was providing information about our furniture items! Lol I asked what her name was and she hung up on me!!! How unprofessional and rude. Contacted the business again and left a message to speak to a manager. A sweet woman by the name of Siga apologized and said the manager would get back to me. I’m glad I discovered this now because I was calling to confirm the move details and provide my credit card number. I just reviewed the reviews and won’t be using this place afterall.
My prior review was inaccurate. Same Day called me back and 1000% rectified the situation. I feel bad for posting my prior review now. They completely took care of me and the guys who came were the nicest hardest working movers I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). The were super fast, efficient, careful, and courteous. I highly recommended Same Day and I plan on using them for my next move. Please disregard my prior review and enjoy their quality service. Thanks
