I had a fun time with my partner but I would like to list out my pros and cons on this company: PROS - instructors are attentive, helpful, and try to create a fun environment for everyone - Cost of a class is cheap - Location is convenient CONS - multiple classes going on in one room so that can get distracting - moves taught in basic classes repeat 97% of the time in other basic classes (the instructor informed her class of this), which makes it annoying to want to learn newer basic moves if the same thing is going to be repeated in the next class - Basic moves may vary from traditional salsa - bring a partner (not a complaint but advice because even though they try to pair you up with someone, there is generally not enough males in the class or those who want to take on a male role so you'll be left dancing by yourself for most of the class) SUGGESTIONS TO FIX CONS - this might be due to budgeting issues but see if you can just have once class going on in one of those giant rooms or maybe get a smaller room - On the website, list out the dance moves being taught so customers can decide whether those moves are worth practicing again or if the ratio of new moves to old moves are worth taking a chance on (this can be done by creating a mouse over feature over the class listings on the website). Overall, fun for a one-time use but not worth going back unless it's more structured.

When I first took salsa classes I was extremely nervous; I did not know what to expect and to make things worse I had no experience dancing salsa at all. It's been a while since that first class and a lot has happened; I've gotten much better at dancing, I've gotten to know many people and now this company has become my second home. Whether you're an advanced dancer or a beginner, the classes are great; the atmosphere is so relaxing and fun, you do not feel obligated to be perfect at what you're doing, instead you develop an interest to want to learn more; especially as beginner, once you get the hang of it you will want to eventually do what the other levels are doing!

Incredibly friendly staff and instructors! Fun, no-pressure environment to grow in your dance skills! Todd and his team do a wonderful job of getting you to connect with your inner dancer - however small that may be initially. A class is a place for you to learn, screw up, and get better in a no-pressure kind of way. Despite how "awkard" you yourself may feel, the staff is always very encouraging, and the class strives for fun and learning while cutting out the judgmental, destructive criticism that plagues many traditional classes. From week to week, the basics are repeated to establish a baseline and consistency, but new moves, styles, flavors/characteristics are added in order to ensure that newcomers are having fun learning while class veterans' interests are maintained. Go alone, with friends, or go as a couple -- Just be warned that if you go as a couple, don't expect to stay together through the entire session! Part of the fun is relinquishing your partner to dance with others so that you can both improve individually! If you go alone - or with friends - arguably you'll have more fun since you get to meet a lot of new people and dance with all sorts of people with varying skill level without having to "worry" about your partner. Go ahead, unleash your inner salsero or salsera!
